Description

EnergiLass 25 AN AFC is an all-natural protein, mineral and vitamin supplement designed to complement the diet of cattle grazing medium to low quality pasture, hay or other forage.

Continuous Protein Delivery - Research has shown that multiple, small doses of protein help improve forage digestion. EnergiLass provides supplemental protein 24/7, helping cattle get most out of each bite. This product is ideal for medium to low quality forages.
Calcium and phosphorus - A 2 to 1 calcium to phosphorus ratio is ideal for cattle on pasture, which tend to be deficient in phosphorus.
Trace mineral fortification - Formulated to supply key trace minerals to help support optimal animal health and performance.
Optimal vitamin fortification - Vitamins A, D and E support growth, metabolism, reproductive performance and proper immune system function.
No Added Salt - EnergiLass is formulated without added salt. A source of free-choice salt should be made available at all times, such as Framework 365 Mineral ADE.
Highly Palatable - The high molasses content of EnergiLass results in a highly palatable supplement, encouraging and maintaining whole herd consumption.
Consistent Intake - The unique manufacturing process results in a product that cattle must lick in order to consume. This results in consistent, predictable intake that helps to manage costs per head per day.
AFC™ for horn fly control - AFC™ (Altosid®) prevents the emergence of adult horn flies from the manure of treated cattle. This product should be fed throughout the fly season to help keep cattle comfortable and grazing.

Feeding Directions

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

FEEDING AND MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTIONS: Feed this product to cattle only. When used as directed, EnergiLass 25 AN AFC will provide sufficient (S)-methoprene
insect growth regulator to prevent the emergence of adult horn flies from manure of treated cattle. Existing adult horn flies will not be affected. Start feeding before horn flies appear and continue use until cold weather marks the end of the horn fly season. Allow free choice to cattle. Cattle should consume an average of 0.8 ounces of EnergiLass 25 AN AFC per 100 lbs of cattle body weight per day, which is equivalent to 8 ounces per day for a 1,000-pound cow. To Open: Remove top plastic cover.

Assure cattle are not starved for nutrients prior to feeding EnergiLass 25 AN AFC.
Offer cattle 250 pounds of EnergiLass 25 AN AFC for every 15-25 head of cattle.
Remove all other self limiting nutritional supplements.
Locate EnergiLass 25 AN AFC where cattle congregate (watering, loafing, shade areas).
Replenish EnergiLass 25 AN AFC on a regular basis as needed.
If intake of EnergiLass 25 AN AFC is below 0.8 ounces per 100 pounds animal body weight per day, increase the number of feeding locations and/or change location(s) to areas more frequented by cattle.
If intake of EnergiLass 25 AN AFC is above 0.8 ounces per 100 pounds animal body weight per day, reduce the number of feeding locations and/or change location(s) to areas less frequented by cattle.
Introduction of this product after adult horn fly infestation is established will require treatment of cattle with adulticides if elimination of the adult fly population is desired.
