EnergiLass 40

EnergiLass 40 is a supplement for growing/developing and mature cattle on pasture.
Life Stage:Cow/Calf
Feed Type:Low-Moisture Block
Feed Form:Block
Packaging:250-lb tub

EnergiLass 40 is a protein, mineral and vitamin supplement designed to be fed to growing/developing and mature cattle consuming lower quality pasture, hay or forage.

  • High energy - Molasses and added fat results in a very high level of sugar and energy. This high sugar level and the licking action needed for consumption increase saliva production. This, in turn, may improve the rumen environment which would improve forage digestion.
  • Highly palatable - The high level of molasses solids and fat make for a highly palatable product. The licking action along with saliva produced softens the top 1/4 inch of the block allowing limited consumption. When this thin layer is consumed the animals must wait for the next layer of the block to soften before they can consume additional product.
  • Continuous Protein Delivery - As pastures mature, forage quality can decline. Supplementing with protein allows the rumen to better digest mature forages.
  • Trace minerals and vitamins - Formulated to provide trace minerals and vitamins to help support optimal animal health and performance.

Feed EnergiLass 40 to growing/developing and mature cattle consuming lower quality pasture, hay, or forage. Place barrel(s) in a dry location near the animal's source of water, salt, mineral, or loafing area. Consumption will vary depending on animal size; stage of production; quality, source, and availability of roughage and/or grains; number of animals per barrel and barrel location. Offer one 250 lb barrel for every 20-30 head of cattle. Cattle typically consume between 0.5 and 1.0 lb per head per day.

DAILY INTAKE VALUES ARE APPROXIMATE. To increase consumption, decrease the number of animals per barrel. To reduce consumption, increase the number of animals per barrel, or place barrels away from the normal loafing area.

Provide clean, fresh water at all times, plus free-choice Kent mineral.
