EnergiLass Rumen Booster is formulated for preconditioning, stressed, shipped-in feeder cattle, or cattle in sick pens on tall types of rations. Rumen Booster can also be offered to cows and heifers during the breeding season, to dairy calves at weaning and stressed dairy cows.

  • Highly palatable - The molasses content of EnergiLass results in sweet block supplement, which encourages and maintains consumption, even in stressed cattle.
  • Trace mineral amino acid complexes - More readily available form of copper, zinc, manganese, and cobalt, compared it inorganic sources, which support a healthy immune system, and overall cattle performance.
  • B vitamins - The addition of B vitamins, including thiamine, helps to stimulate appetite in stressed cattle.
  • Yeast products - A source of high quality yeast helps to stimulate intake, aids in forage fermentation and supports a healthy rumen environment.
  • Added salt - Salt encourages supplement and water intake, both important in stressed calves; and helps maintain electrolyte balance.
  • Trace mineral fortification - Formulated to supply key trace minerals to help support optimal animal health and performance.
  • Optimal vitamin fortification - Vitamins A, D and E support growth, metabolism, reproductive performance and proper immune system function.

Feed Kent EnergiLass Rumen Booster to stressed or shipped in feeder cattle, or cattle in sick pens on all types of rations. Begin feeding to breeding cattle 30 days prior to and throughout the breeding season. Place barrel(s) in a dry location near the animal's source of water or loafing area. Consumption will vary depending on animal size; health; quality, source, and availability of roughage and/or grains; number of animals per barrel and barrel location. Offer one 250 lb barrel to every 10 head when cattle are stressed and one for every 30 head when cattle are healthy. Cattle typically consumer between 0.25 and 0.75 lbs per head daily.
Daily intake values are approximate. To increase consumption, decrease the number of animals per barrel. To reduce consumption, increase the number of animals per barrel, or place barrels away from the normal loafing area.

Provide clean, fresh water at all times. DO NOT feed free-choice salt and/or minerals, provide these in the regular ration.

Warning

This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any species with a low tolerance to supplemental copper.

Caution

Use as directed. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg per head per day.
