Birth: Feed 3 to 4 quarts of colostrum immediately after birth (need to provide 150 g of IgG). Feed 2 to 3 additional quarts within 12 hours of birth. Always use the highest quality colostrum available. If necessary, use an esophageal feeder. Don’t let the calf determine intake.

2 Days Old Until Weaning: Feed Milk Formula 1 High Protein until weaning. For small breed calves, feed 2 to 2.5 quarts of reliquefied Milk Formula 1 High Protein twice a day. For large breed calves, feed 2.5 to 3 quarts of reliquefied Milk Formula 1 High Protein twice a day. Continue to feed Milk Formula 1 High Protein as long as you would normally feed whole milk.

Cold Weather Feeding Instructions: Add an extra feeding using a non-medicated Milk Formula 1 High Protein milk replacer solution or switch to Milk Formula 1 Winterizer milk replacer during periods of cold stress.

Mixing Directions

Mix 12 ounces (0.75 pound) of milk replacer plus 2.5 quarts of warm (110°F) water. Add powder to water and mix vigorously. Use of cooler water requires greater mixing action and increases the possibility of the powder settling out. Feed immediately.
