RangeBoss 30% Protein Block is formulated for growing and mature cattle and sheep while they are grazing pasture or on stalk fields. Provide one for 5 to 10 head of cattle or 15 to 30 head of sheep. Cattle will Consume about 0.5 to 2 lb and sheep 0.1 to 0.25 lb per head per day depending upon quantity and quality of the other feed being fed and the size of the animal. Scatter blocks over a wide area which is clean and dry to allow all animals access to the blocks.
If the animals have not had an adequate protein intake prior to starting them on protein blocks, it is best to limit the amount of protein blocks to be fed for the first few days.
